The gang is trying to figure out a way to go to the beach this year, though all of us are strapped for cash. It doesn’t make sense for just 3 of us to go, but J & B say they can make it if it’s not too expensive so maybe we can find a place that will suit everybody. So far, I’m not having a lot of luck finding a place as cheap as they want, though … they’re thinking $300 a person for an oceanfront house, which just isn’t possible any longer now that people are traveling again & the home owners have jacked up their prices again, even during off season. So far, the closest I’ve been able to find is $400-$500 a person. Plus, we’d have to buy food, pay taxes & fees, etc. We might just have to skip vacation this year. Maybe the roomie & I can find a hotel room or condo for a long weekend at the end of September or something…
