I have a BritBox subscription, so I watch a lot of English TV, mostly mysteries (although I did love “As Time Goes By”).
My latest find is a show called Rosemary & Thyme, about a pair of middle-aged women who become professional gardeners–and who always manage to find a body while they’re working! Rosemary Boxer & Laura Thyme are a feisty duo. Rosemary is a spinster and Laura’s ex left her for a 23-year-old blonde bimbo. In between the murders, you learn a bit about gardening, so it’s an interesting show. I like the characters and they always have something unusual to investigate, like the man Rosemary saw jump into a raging river, but then spotted at a local market two days later.
