So I did a thing. I know, never volunteer for anything. But, in my defense, I thought I’d be one of a large number of volunteers for this (there are six of us).
We’re starting a yearly high school writing contest & I’m on the inaugural committee somehow. Our president wants a contest THIS year, too, not next, as I was assuming.
So we’re scrambling like mad to come up with a website, press releases, email content, posters for the teachers to print out & tack up on their boards, email addresses for said teachers, & prizes. We’re also hunting for more volunteers, since six of us can’t possibly do everything needed by October 1.
