Plane Trip to Anywhere

If you won a first-class ticket to anywhere in the world, where would you go? I have so many places on my Bucket List that it’d be hard to choose.

I think I’d pick Australia and New Zealand, though. I’ve always wanted to see The Outback, and while I’m in that neck of the woods, I should hop over and visit the lush greenery that is New Zealand. I’d need a first-class ticket though—that’s a long flight and I can’t stand being cramped up in those tiny economy seats. I’d probably start in Sydney just to say I was there, though big cities don’t especially excite me the way they do my roomie. Then, it’d be off on a tour of the desert, maybe even all the way to Uluru if that’s allowed nowadays. After that, maybe a bit of scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef—again, to say I was there, and then I could end the trip in New Zealand, which seems a lot like Kauai in the pictures, only with snow-capped mountains.

Another trip I’d love to make is a tour of Europe. I’ve been to England and Ireland, but never to the continent. I’d like to do one of those two- to three-week things where you see all of the major countries with a tour guide to explain the history and architecture. I’m not sure if that would count as one plane trip though, so I’d better stick to Australia.

Where would you go with your free ticket? Somewhere across the globe from your home—or right around the corner? Comment and let me know.
