The ankle surgery this morning went very well – once I actually got back to the operating room, it only took him a little over an hour. Back at home now with a splint/cast up to my knee that I can’t get wet or put much pressure on for 2-3 weeks.
The upside is now I absolutely have nothing to do but sit in my recliner and write! I’m allowed to hobble to the bathroom or bed and back, but other than that no pressure on that ankle.
